My name is Nikki Kennedy. I am an ACE-Certified Health Coach, with a special emphasis on Women’s Hormonal Balance. My husband, Scott, and I have been married since 1997 and have two amazing children. I love teaching fitness classes at our local YMCA and leading a very active lifestyle with my family.
However, I haven't always been healthy. I know how scary it can be to see the word “Obese” on your medical chart…I’ve been there. I know how challenging it can be to stay in “Maintenance Mode”…I’m doing it! I realized in 2009 that I was going to start paying the price for my health if I didn't figure out a way forward. That's when I began Bod E Talk in 2009 and discovered the principles that empowered me to not only drop the weight and become more active but also provide freedom in keeping the weight off and staying fit. It also gave me the confidence to become a Fitness Instructor, which has been the most amazing experience! I love my workout peeps!
Recently, I dove deeper into the correlation between hormone stability and women’s health, through the completion of an Understanding Hormones Program. Balancing hormones can have a significant impact on our health since they directly control our metabolism, muscle building, and appetite. Whether you are in child-bearing years, perimenopause or post-menopause, regulating your hormones will be an essential part of controlling your health. These concepts pair perfectly with the Bod E Talk lifestyle.

Yesterday I went to the dentist and had to fill out some paperwork. There in the back was my paperwork from 2002 when I first became a patient. My weight was also noted. I'm happy to say I'm now 2 pounds less than I was 15 years ago! I still can't believe this transformation. I'm not starving myself. I'm not exercising like a crazy woman. I'm not taking any special pills. I'm just listening to my body. Bod E Talk is great!
