Hello!  My name is Margaret Hammond. I am a registered dietitian nutritionist and have enjoyed teaching nutrition in various settings, including the Utah State Department of Health, the Salt Lake County Meals on Wheels program, and the Utah Beef Council.  I am married and have three boys. I live in San Antonio, Texas, and enjoy traveling, cooking, singing, playing the harp, and piano.   

I’ve always been interested in the power of food, and over the past 20+ years, I have been on my health journey as I’ve tried to apply the knowledge I have about nutrition and become more fit through moving my body. I’ve learned a lot through my own experiences as a busy mom, and the challenges of emotional eating and passing on good health habits to my family members.  

It wasn’t until I discovered the BT program that I learned that our bodies communicate with us if we take the time to listen. This program empowers you to learn skills that will help you be the best version of yourself. I’m excited to be a BT coach and help you on your journey! I look forward to helping you discover your own Bod E Talk.

As a child, what book had the most impact on you?

The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I love the story because it teaches the importance of sharing what we have with others to bless their lives.
