Hi, my name is Michelle Spencer and I live in a tiny little town called Monteview, Idaho. I am married to a hard-working dairyman and have 6 energetic children that we are also trying to teach to work hard.


My passion for health and fitness came when I was a young teenager. I matured and developed a little sooner than the other girls in my class and consequently was subject to much teasing. I was called “fat”, “chubby”, or told I had “thunder thighs”.  Being young and so easily influenced, I allowed their teasing to determine my worth.  I joined the track team and started to run more and more.  My family, coaches, teachers, and friends were very encouraging. In my mind though, I kept telling myself I was fat and I could be a better runner if I lost weight. I began to run more and eat less. This led down a dangerous road that ended when the doctor told me if I didn’t take care of my body, I would never be able to have children. My parents were also a huge influence on me – loving me through all of my highs and lows.


From these experiences came a fierce hunger for knowledge on fitness and nutrition. There had to be a balance somewhere! I wanted to be able to eat right, exercise, and share with others the joy that comes from doing so. I have found when I feel good physically, I am more balanced in all other areas of my life – mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I received a B.S. in Health Science with a minor in Health Education and Physical Education.

Then, in December of 2017, I certified as an ACE Health Coach. My love for running has still not ceased. I qualified for and ran the 2018 Boston Marathon. I also coach cross-country and track in our local school. The best part – I get to coach my kids too! We love doing races as a family and my love for running seems to be rubbing off on them.

After I had each of my children, I would try different programs to help me lose weight. I would count calories, try cutting out different foods, and I found that it was consuming me. I first heard about Bod E Talk from a friend and I had to try it. This program was the perfect program for me – it taught me how to listen to and love my body for the amazing creation it is. It helped me to find that balance I have been searching for. Bod E Talk has not only blessed me but has also blessed my family. I’m SO excited to be able to share this program with others!

“Meet my pile of skinny jeans. You know, the pile that’s been in the back of my closet waiting for me to get thin enough to wear them. Today was purge day in our house. Well...this whole pile...is going to Goodwill...BECAUSE...I'm too skinny for my skinny jeans - I could pull every pair off WHILE THEY WERE BUTTONED!  :)  :)  :)
