Because of BT…
I let go of 30 pounds and came to learn the tools to help myself get to where I wanted to be!
Everyone has a story. Welcome to mine.
Hi! My name is Amber Foy and I am a Barre & Pilates Instructor an ACE-Certified Health Coach.
I’ve been married to my supportive husband, George, since 2011 and we have two super energetic kids - Geo (5) and Braxton (3), and two very furry huskies - Calypso and Athena. My family keeps me grounded, so without them I don’t know where I would be. As a mom of two young kids I want to set a good example for them to love their bodies, be present, and make mindful decisions throughout their life. We’re constantly working together to make movement and nutrition a priority, however we’ve had our fair share of challenges in reaching this place of peace and spiritual alignment.
I’ve battled depression and anxiety for nearly 10 years and because of that my health, relationships, and weight have suffered. I didn’t realize it until stress and fatigue had wreaked havoc on my mind and body, but I was living with Binge Eating Disorder for years. It wasn’t until I experienced a hallucination that I knew something had to change. I knew if I kept living with this unhealthy relationship with food and body image I wouldn’t survive much longer. It was at that time I committed to myself to make some serious changes, starting with my relationship to myself.
I recognized how much of an impact food had on my life and I was determined not to let it dictate my emotions anymore. The combination of practicing Pilates and adhering to the Bod E Talk lifestyle drastically changed my life for the better. I let go of 30 pounds and counting, but I gained so much more it’s hard to even put into words. For the first time in my life I feel like I am able to cope with my emotions, manage my stress, and love my body for what it is. I know if I had to count calories, macros, or points I would be focusing too much on foods and would not be successful. I knew if I restricted certain food groups I would eventually fall back into my old habits. I fell in love with Bod E Talk because all I had to do was listen to my body talking to me. It was not a diet, but a lifestyle change and most importantly something that I could teach to my family.
After adopting this lifestyle, I realized I could never go back to where I was. I felt an overwhelming sense of motivation to become a Bod E Talk Coach to share my story in hopes that it too can inspire you to live a more mindful life so that you can enjoy the things that mean the most to you. Now I am able to care for myself, family, and friends on such a deeper level and make connections that I previously was too afraid to seek out. I live boldly with passion and want to share that zest for life with anyone who is struggling to find the balance of health and happiness in their life.
Regardless of your story or where you are in your life, I can’t wait to connect with you. I am here to support you and be part of your journey. Let’s get started today!

More About My Personal Transformation:
If you would have met me a year ago, my lifestyle looked completely different. I was battling a deep depression, not exercising, and eating out or choosing convenience foods almost every meal. I hated the choices that I was making and I felt like food was controlling me. When I heard about Bod E Talk I decided to take a chance on it because I knew I needed to take my control back. It was a matter of working up the courage to admit I had a problem, finding the bravery I needed to take the first step towards change, and being vulnerable with my group - something that terrified me! The thought of sharing any part of my story made me want to crawl up into a ball and hide in my room. I’m so grateful for my coach pushing me out of my comfort zone and convincing me that I deserved better.
I finally registered for Bod E Talk, committed myself to the program, stayed engaged throughout the session, and did everything my coach suggested. My honest efforts led to success on and off the scale. The beauty of Bod E Talk is that it’s not just for anyone looking to lose weight, but for anyone who is looking to live more mindfully or more meaningful lives. If you’re reading this and can relate to any part of my story I encourage you to reach out to me. I’m not perfect by any means, but I lived the struggle, still face challenges every day, and feel empowered because I’m able to overcome those adversities. My battles have made me stronger and because of that I’m more passionate than ever about aligning the mind and body. I care deeply about connecting with others and want to coach you to be your own fitness and nutrition expert. Now is the time to start believing in yourself because guess what? YOU ARE WORTH IT!
